1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using OurLedger, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. What OurLedger is
OurLedger is a personal and family finance app — expense tracking, group expense splitting, 1:1 debt tracking, budgets, goals, and AI-assisted receipt scanning. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a lender, or a registered investment advisor, and nothing in the app constitutes financial advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you lose access, you can recover your account using your registered email — phone-number-only recovery is disabled once your account has a password or verified email, to protect against a reassigned phone number being used to access your account by someone else.
5. Subscription plans & billing
- Free: no payment required, limited to the caps shown in-app.
- Individual Plus and Family Plan: paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly via Razorpay, auto-renewing until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from the Subscription screen — cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period (see our Refund Policy for the one exception).
- Family Plan is billed to the plan owner only; members are added/removed by the owner at no separate cost.
6. AI receipt scanning
AI-extracted receipt data may contain errors. OurLedger always shows you a confirm-and-edit screen before anything is saved to your ledger — nothing is entered automatically. You're responsible for reviewing scanned data before confirming it.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use OurLedger to: break the law, harass or defraud another user (including through fabricated group expenses or debts), attempt to access another user's account, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
8. Intellectual property
The OurLedger app, its design, and its content are owned by AutoServeX. Your own financial data remains yours.
9. Disclaimers & liability
OurLedger is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, AutoServeX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on app data.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You can delete your own account at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We'll post changes here with an updated date and notify you in-app for material changes.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
